Detailed explanations of ballistic standards, legal regulations in the field of civil defense and OPC MILITARY logistics procedures.
STANAG 2920 is a standardized NATO agreement specifying the methodology for testing the ballistic resistance of armor and eye protection. The key parameter is the coefficient v50, which determines the speed (in m/s or ft/s) at which the probability of piercing the visor with a fragment weighing 1.1 g is exactly 50%. OPC visors are successfully tested at speeds exceeding standard military requirements, ensuring v50 at speeds above 181.4 m/s.
In Poland and most EU countries, the possession and purchase of bulletproof vests and ballistic inserts by civilians is legal. However, the distribution of specific categories of products for strictly military or police purposes (licensed class IV / K5A plates) is subject to trade control and is carried out only to business entities, security agencies, sports shooters and state budget units (B2B / B2G).
The MDS system (Mobile Shield Systems) is a modular, concrete-free technology based on a steel frame and OPC Protect ceramic composite plates. It allows you to quickly reinforce existing internal walls or windows without the need to carry out heavy construction work. A wall just 12 cm thick provides full FB 7 protection, whereas obtaining the same level of resistance from a traditional brick wall would require a thickness of over 50 cm.
Our showroom is located in the guarded area of the Warsaw Citadel. For safety reasons and in order to provide a dedicated technical advisor, the visit requires prior notification by e-mail or telephone. Please let us know your desire to meet at least 24 hours in advance. When entering through the Katyn Gate, you are required to show your ID.
Most standard models of ballistic glasses and basic tactical footwear in standard sizes are shipped within 24-48 hours of order confirmation. Volumetric orders for uniform clothing, SAPI ballistic plates and MDS steel structures are carried out on a scheduled basis, and the production time is on average from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the current load on production plants.
