Traditional barriers (e.g. heavy concrete, sand)
- Huge mass of the structure: It causes extreme loads on floors, ceilings and foundations, creating a risk of collapse.
- Microbiological hazard: Sandbags absorb moisture from the surroundings, causing the growth of mold and fungi that destroy historic wood and stone.
- Invasive installation: It requires drilling anchor holes, which irreversibly destroys the valuable historic tissue.
- Aesthetic degradation: It disfigures historic buildings and disturbs their historical visual reception.

Features of Soft Armor® Technology 13 mm
Ballistic resistance
High protection against fragments, explosion and impacts. Reaches a certified level STANAG 4569 level 3 at just 12 cm cover thickness.
Fire resistance
Ceramic granules are completely non-flammable (reaction to fire class A1) and offers certified fire resistance in classes from REI 60 to REI 240.
Neutrality and No Chemicals
100% chemically inert, without heavy metals, resins or toxic binders. Completely safe in direct contact with historic material.
Breathability and No moisture
The loose structure of the granules ensures constant air circulation, preventing condensation of water vapor and the formation of mold or biological corrosion.
Lightness and Mobility
Low weight (only 1.48 kg/litre) enables quick evacuation, rearrangement of systems or easy disassembly without permanently burdening the structure of the facility.
Wide Temperature Range
Maintains full physical and mechanical parameters at extreme operating temperatures from -40°C to +60°C in any climate.
Structures and Protective Systems
Cordura covers
Flexible, soft covers made of Cordura® filled with ceramic granulate. They fit perfectly to the irregular surfaces of monuments (e.g. sculptures, pillars, stucco), protecting against impacts and fragments.
Cassettes and Panels
Rigid, modular metal cassettes (steel/aluminum) or MgO panels with Soft Armor® filling. Designed to create soundproofing, non-invasive covers for stained glass windows, doors and perimeter screens.
Protective Walls
Integrated barriers made of Soft Protect modular ballistic blocks. They enable the construction of temporary or permanent free-standing screens and protective partitions inside galleries and buildings.
Escape Boxes
